BABY GODZILLA AT LEEDS (Kind of!)
**************************************
READ THE DZ DEATHRAYS LEEDS FESTIVAL BLOG HERE…
BIG THANKS ARE DUE!
*************************
We at I'm Not From London and BABY GODZILLA would like to sincerely thank the tireless efforts of these people who had Baby G's back and through the bonds of love and friendship have stuck with the boys through thick and thin when they could have been getting on with their lives or be doing private jobs that required less hassle and paid much better!!
CARLA MUNDY
*****************
The diligent and dedicated photographer, CARLA MUNDY who has been on countless tours, in the back of the van, at the front of the gigs and at the bottom of the moshpits. On tour she's mothered, comforted and humoured the guys not to mention taken part in many a hair brained scheme dreamt up by the boys and never once complained, she's also made these guys look so much more handsome and hard than I would have thought possible. This one below got in Kerrang!
DAVE LANKESTER
*********************
The guy's such a dude, they dedicated a song to him.
Listen to David Lankester here...
They broke the mould when they made this guy - he's our rock!
Hot Japanese Girl's Dave "The Face" Lankester as the first person to agree that Baby Godzilla should be next on the INFL roster after stepping in on many a gig that Hot Japanese Girl for some reason or another, couldn't play. The all round awesome guy sees Baby Godzilla as his little brothers and brings a much needed order to the chaos that can ensue onstage and off. Indeed, Dave's skills at "making the most out of what you've got" and penchant for Lo-Fi, DIY videos and presentation landed INFL with some of the most innovative music videos ever shot on a laughable budget, he's currently working on the Powerboat Disaster video but we all love this gem!
Watch "At the Oche" here...
RUFIO SYMES
****************
Undisputedly the best clubnight promoter in town, Rufio runs PHLEBAS, THE BOPP and Boogie Nights yet when he can, he helps get the Baby G lads work, free parties and even lends himself and his HD P.A supersonic sound system , crane, cameras, mics and crew to help make the videos we see the crew break themselves and their gear in time and time again!
Rufio/Rob is a genuine gentleman who's not only helped I'm Not From London out by having his WOLFPACK MEDIA team film and personally edit the promo film for our annual charity bash, THE WATERFRONT FESTIVAL but whenever a video calls to be made, a promo trailer beckons, Rob steps up to the plate and never fails to deliver a quality professional product made with love!
Who else would let Baby Godzilla come round their flat to play on their roof!
Picture taken by Andrew Lane.
See them there, hear them here…
RYAN "Chuck" MORRIS
*************************
RYAN's the sonic wizard behind "Oche" and has accompanied Baby G on many a gig and made sure they sound how they're meant to!
GINGER WILDHEART AND EXIT INTERNATIONAL
**************************************************
These guys helped Baby G with their most fun tour to date - We & they can't thank you enough!
Check them out!
and we'd like to thank Baby Godzilla's guitar sponsors HOFNER, who like a rock and roll fairy godmother steps in and blesses our favourite destroyers of all things breakable by turning this…
into this!!!
And a big thanks to The Music Cell, Leftlion and Nottingham Live for all your support!
See you soon.. here….
